Finish Carpenter

About the Position

Kingdom Design and Build is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our growing construction team. Bring a strong eye for detail, pride in precision workmanship, and the ability to independently complete finish carpentry tasks while maintaining KDB's quality standards.

Work on residential remodeling, renovations, new construction, and custom home projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Install interior doors, door frames, and hardware.
• Install baseboards, crown molding, casing, and decorative trim.
• Perform finish carpentry for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-home renovations.
• Install cabinetry, shelving, built-ins, and custom woodwork.
• Complete detailed cuts, measurements, fitting, and adjustments.
• Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other trades.
• Identify potential issues and communicate with project management.
• Deliver quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional finish carpentry experience.
• Own and maintain professional tools; have reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install materials.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical construction tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Residential remodeling and new construction experience.
• Experience installing custom cabinetry and trim packages.
• Ability to read construction drawings and finish schedules.
• Experience working on occupied residential properties.
